Hello! My name is Casey and I am first and foremost a Christian, but I am also a proud wife and mother of three (adult) girls. I was a teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children for 10 years until I made a career change, as many of us did, during the Covid pandemic. I now work with children with disabilities, ages birth-three years old, and coach their families on how to work with their children to close gaps in developmental delays. Since the children are so young and parents are so resourceful with many ideas of their own, I do not find myself working all of those extra hours on nights and weekends that teaching and lesson planning involved. At first it was relaxing, but ultimately, I became bored and found that I needed a new hobby. That is when I discovered woodworking. I started off my first project by building my own desk for my office. It took a while to complete because I had no idea what I was doing, but I learned a lot of new and useful skills along the way. After showing off my desk to everyone that came to my house, they started asking me to make projects for them too. I was happy to do it because that meant that they would pay for the materials, and I could hone my craft without breaking the bank. As I grew in my skills, I added a few machines to help with personalization such as a Cricut, CNC and laser engraver. Recently, I decided to combine my love of woodworking and crafting with my love of Christ and thus Charming Faith was born. I hope you enjoy these products as much as I do! :)
